Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Activities

At Isgec, we have identified educational infrastructure as one of the key areas that needs to be addressed and most of our CSR activities hare focused on this very issue. These pictures capture a glimpse of the work being done on the ground.

 

docs-pictures The 100 year old Govt. Sr. Secondary Girls School in Jagadhri, India was completely renovated and provided with writing boards, durries (cotton carpets) for seating, water coolers with water purifiers, toilets and other facilities.
docs-pictures Writing boards, durries, and water coolers with water purifiers have been provided across 122 Government Schools in the Districts of Yamunanagar & Kurukshetra in India. Subsequently, an additional 243 schools have been provided with 8 green writing boards each.
docs-pictures A Van was donated to the Nai Disha Educational & Cultural Society, an NGO in the Delhi NCR area, working in the field of community development through education targeting out of school children.

docs-pictures We were approached by the Rotary Club of Delhi Garden City to finance the renovation of the toilets at the MCD DDA Slum School at New Delhi, which were in a terrible condition. As is obvious from the pictures shown, the situation seemed appalling and the company agreed to help.

 

While focussing all our energies in doing what we do best, i.e. provide cutting edge engineering solutions to our customers from around the world, Isgec is committed to doing its bit to ensure that we live the life of a responsible corporate citizen.

 

Policy
Projects and Programmes
  • The CSR Policy will include projects and programmes relating to activities mentioned in Schedule VII or the Companies Act, 2013, as per Annexure-I attached.
  • The Company will give preference to the local area or areas around which the Company operates for spending the CSR expenditure.
Monitoring of the implementation of the projects or programmes of CSR

The Committee approved that Mr. S.K. Khorana, Executive Director & Company Secretary, will monitor the implementation of the Board from time to time.

Surplus

Any surplus arising out of the CSR projects or programmes or activities shall not form part of the Business profits of the Company.
